The Hainan Airline company had picked Xin Long as a based of this huge Golf & Resort project due to the general temperature is lower than Sanya. At the mean time, they have this HNA Resort Kangle Garden which won the "Best 10 China Resort", their first golf club - Kangle Spa & Golf Club, and Sun River Golf Club which was opened last May, and a new golf course which is almost finish, expect to be opened by October 2006. A new big clubhouse is also being built to serve this three courses.
According to Mr Liang, General Manager of HNA Resort, their project will have another 7 more golf courses within this area to make this Golf City.

Kangle Spa & Golf Club has also been chosen as the venue of China PGA Tour to hold the final championship tournament of Hainan destination.

From Sanya Phoenix International Airport, it takes about 1 hour 15 mins to here.

Temporary Club house is 3 mins away from the Resort, Lobby, Reception, Restaurant, Proshop though not big, very neat and tidy, Changing room is also reasonbly good. To be honest, I hadnt use them since Resort is just so close that I prefer to have a nice shower in my own room. staffs are warm and service is good.

This course is built inside a valley with mature scenery, consisted of doglegs fairways, island green, elevation, and the most interesting are these double fairways design, you can choose either conservative or aggressive route which suits your skill level.

Have you seen this before ? neither did I, according to the caddie, this is their normal bunker maintainence to avoid the bunkers from rock hard conditions.

It has been two years since my last visit. Impressive is the word to describe.

Believe the management had done a lot of work to enhanced the course and successfully turned it from B to an A grade course.

The whole course conditions is perfect, plus a lot of nice gardening, new midway houses, mature and natural scenery, comfortable breeze, very enjoyable game.

Course layout is interesting & reasonable, choose the right tee and you will enjoy it.

Take a look of these Coconut trees, I thought it is for decoration but I'm wrong, its the way to make the young coconut grows. : )

The Resort which has been opened for a long while, and unlike those new and elegant resorts , it still maintain a very reasonably good standard with plenty of facilities, a lovely place for a short break. One more thing is that, there are more mid size restaurants and massage parlour than before at the town which is located 10 mins away from the club. And good to know that, those "Sanya type rip off shops" are hardly find in this area.

There are two more courses in this area, sister course - Sun River Golf Club just right next to Kangle and another one Ocean bay Golf Club is 10 mins away.
