| The
Master Course (C&D) is not for those who struggle in the sand.
Designer Jim Engh has put in some absolutely whopping bunkers (especially
on the front nine) so watch out.
The course is
realatively forgiving off the tee however, which makes it very playable.
The greens feature tonnes of break which can leave you looking more
than a little foolish. The difficulty of the Master lies in the
approach shots. Water, those deep bunkers, and tricky greens mean
good iron players will hold the advantage.
So
tosum up, this is one of the most exciting course I've played. The
course measures just 6,355 yards from the blue tee, but due to a
couple of spilt fairways & those massive & deep bunkers
- most of them are 2 to 3 meters deep! If your shot is off line
- you'd better start praying as you will be looking at a Bogey at
best.
But if you are
able to navigate around the bunkers, this is a fun course to play.
If you play
to your handicap you've done exceedingly well.
