Introduction
You can go by either through the terminal in Shun Tak Centre on Hong Kong side or China Kong Kong City Terminal in Tsimshatsui on Kowloon.

The quicker route will be taking the ferry to JiuZhou Harbour as  it is closer from the ferry to the club.  ¡@

Club Facilities & Service

The existing club house is supposed to be a temporary so only a small coffee room and changing room were available at the time of my visit, (I think a driving range was also being built).

However, the 'temporary' club house has been in use for few years now and I have not seen signs of the permanent club house and facilities being built.....

Nevertheless, the service of the staff were very nice and attentive.  Ice cold towers were also available in the mid way houses during the summer to cool you down.

Fairway & Green Maintenance
Most fairways and greens on the Mountain course were nicely maintained but I managed to find a few of the greens were far from ideal - in fact a bit like surface of the moon.

Caddy's' Service & Knowledge of the Course
Both service and knowledge of the course were reasonably good, estimated yardage and direction were fairly accurate.

Course Design

The design of the course has to be the strongest point of the club, I quite enjoyed playing on the Mountain Course,  particularly the #2, 6, 7, 9 & 13 holes, all take some thinking before you take the shot.
Some of the par 5s are with big doglegs if you can cut, draw or fade your tee shot, substantial amount of distance can be saved making the second shots easier, if you want to have a chance of making an Eagle, this will offer you a plenty of good opportunities.
I love this picturesque # 6 downhill par 4 with a big swing to the right.

007's Rating

I actually quite enjoyed my round on the Mountain Course, mainly due to its design and the service and knowledge of my caddy.

But golfers should note that the golf course is right next to the Zhu Hai Race Track, noise would be a big factor during racing of motor cars, as much as a racing fan myself, I don't really fancy having a round of golf while racing.... don't they realize motor racing and golf don't mix ?

That said,  I am looking forward to have a go at the Lake Course but not before I make sure that there will be no racing on the day.

Par, The club barely managed to save par mainly due to its course design and service of the staff, the club is in need of major improvements to keep up with the high standard that others offer.
