Mountain Course

I really enjoyed the beautiful scenery & design of the Valley course so much so that I decided to check out the Mountain course a week after.

And I am equally pleased that I checked this Mountain Course out as it is even better than the Valley in terms of design & view 1 , 2 .

The course is built on & around the hills with long & tight fairways (6,512 yards), with few tight twist & turns, up & downhill, it is recommended you use a cart if you are not very fit or during the Summer heat.

In summary, the par 4s on this course are long but the par 5s are shorter than normal with lots of doglegs, the first few holes of the front 9 are very tight & intimating from the tee indeed but the back plays relatively easier.

Fairway & Green Maintenance

The greens are reasonable well maintain but some are very sloppy. It is a must to seek your caddy's advice from you approach to the greens are landing on the right side will help your putt a lot.

Caddy's service & knowledge of the course
Not bad, much better than the last time.

I like to ease of going to Nansha as it is only a short ferry ride away, both the Valley & mountain will give a good mix, if you fancy a relatively easier course, choose the Valley, if you like challenges, take the Mountain.
