The Club's location
is very convenient for golfers from Hong Kong to get to as the ferry Hong
Kong only takes a little more than an hour and a short shuttle bus ride
away from the Nansha Ferry Terminal. |

Club Facilities & Service | |||||||||||||||||||
The club is reasonably big, well facilitated and the service of the staff are OK too. I particular like to hugh changing room. |

Fairway & Green Maintenance | |||||||||||||||||||
The club decided to change all the greens to bent in 07, making it one of the 2 clubs in southern China with all bent greens (the other is Cung Shan Golf club), as we all now bent grass like cooler weather so during winter months, they are excellent. Both Landscaping & view are very nice. | |||||||||||||||||||
Valley Course Design | |||||||||||||||||||
A very interesting mix of up & downhill, doglegs with some carries over water, the front 9 are actually built around the rolling hill side while the back are built on a flat piece of land with more water influence. Most greens are very big with lots of undulations. | |||||||||||||||||||

I like the course's surrounding, landscaping, design, its maintenance of the fairways and greens very much, the club's overall rating would be even higher if the management can improve the quality of the food and overall caddy's service and knowledge of the course. Finally, I noticed that the course was really quite with only a handful of players (although it was a weekday) I believe the club can do much better if proper promotion can be carried out. Thanks to a much better caddy service, the rating has gone up from Birdie to Eagle.
