| The final few holes finally opened, another 18 to choose from........ excellent : ) This one will take an hour & 15-20 minutes to get there from Huanggang but the ride is quite comfortable as most of the way are on a new highway, 4 of us hired a private car which costed 600, a cheaper alternative will be getting more players & hire a van instead. | ||||||||||||||||||

| The club is only temporary so nothing fancy, just a pro-shop, cafe and basic facilities available but the service & food is reasonably good. If you want to stay for the night, their rooms are quite decent too. | ||||||||||||||||||

In general the par 4s are on the long side whereas the par 5s are little shorter. Except for a few, the greens generally quite flat. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Fairways & greens maintenance | ||||||||||||||||||
| Not bad. All the fairways were in excellent shape, however the greens were just being sand so expect the course in good condition in 1 or 2 weeks time. The overall landscaping is quite nice. | ||||||||||||||||||

| The older ones are more experience but there are lots of new ones are still quite fresh and may not be able to offer much help. | ||||||||||||||||||

| The course is nearby Palm Island & Huizhou GC, so you can check them all out if you have time. I enjoyed playing the interesting layout of this course very much and will go back soon....I hope. One unusual facility of the club is the spa which will be ready in Oct 02, so it will be ideal for us to unwind or for those non-golfers to kill time while their other half are on the course.
The course was very congested with players this time, hope the management will
improve or they will wait a long time for me to return. Eagle

The
design of the current 18 is interesting with a nice combination of doglegs, island
green & some up & downhill fairways.
