This is one of the closest club to Hong Kong, it takes only 30 minutes from Huanggang border. The travel time could be shorten to 20 minutes if you travel from the new Shenzhen Bay border. The course was designed by the same designer as Noble Merchant Golf Club - Les Watts. 18 holes night golfing is also available daily.

The clubhouse is considered to be huge for just an 18 holes course where you can find coffee cafe, Western restaurant, Chinese restaurant, proshop, changing room, hotel rooms. Sauna Massage is also available at another complex. Staffs are nice and cheerful.

There is more change of elevation at front nine, combined with dogleg holes, straight holes, island green, short or long fairway, you name it you got it. The huge dogleg #9, index two is really challenging, direction and length is equally important, bogey is considered to be a good score.
Water appears more frequently on back nine, course built on a gentle rolling terrain except the last two holes.
Some Par4's are crazy long (470 + yards from gold), green in regulation is almost impossible for recreational golfers unless you are big big hitters.
Recently, an island green is added to hole #2 which is fun to play.

The lately condition is average except the green which is nice. Normal maintanence procedure carry out on front nine's teeboxes which means they are quite sandy. (02/2009)

Though the course was designed by same person - Les Watts, unlike Noble Merchant Golf Club, Green Bay do have sufficient land provided, the setup is more interesting indeed.

The envirnoment is getting mature though you may see a few blocks of factories in a couple of holes.
Also, due to the construction of highway to Bo An airport, views of holes #10 & #18 are slightly affected.

18 holes night golfing is also available everyday which means it is possible to teeoff after work if you are in real desperate.
