| | Introduction |
|
The old Lion Lake was brought out by a big property company brought out the land in 2006 and transforming the whole site which will include 36-hole golf course, 5 star hotels (one of them is Sheraton), a hot spring centre and a yacht club. The golf course is managed by an international management company Troon Golf.
The journey from Shenzhen to the course took about 2 hours.

| | Club facilities & service |
The American style club house has 3-story and is big, I like the decoration & rather tasteful design....very nice indeed, there is even a fireplace in the restaurant & Roman style fountain just outside.
The proshop is is well stocked & the locker room is very nice too. |
| | Condition of the course |
| I was told the course uses Paspalum Platinum, although I am not too sure about this but the condition for fairways & greens were well manicured and in superb shape. |

| Course Design |

The Moon course has a very good mix of long & short holes, some of them are interesting and some of them of very tough (avoid these rough!)and depending on your skill level, there are 5 sets of tee to choose from, they are black, Gold, Silver, Copper & Jade (scorecard), we played from the Gold tee which is 6,638 yards, the designer took advantage of the natural terrain and the hugh red rocks dotted around the course to create a very distinctive scenery.

| | Caddie |
| The yardage & green reading tips given by the new caddies were not too accurate, need more time to know the course, having said that, the service were very good & very keen to learn. |

| 007 rating |
| We only had enough time to play the Moon course (did not play the C course) but we were really impressed by the quality of the club house and the design of the course, despite the distance from HK, it 's a must play.
This is one of the best I have played in recent months, the whole experience was almost prefect....may be except the caddies needing more time to know the course. Ace ! OCT 2010
