The golf course is near the city center of Melaka, about 35 minutes from where I stayed during the holiday A'famosa Golf Resort, so I decided to give it a try.

Quite a big club with swimming pool, cafe and proshop etc, the service is similar to A'famosa equally slow.。

It is designed by Neil Haworth who utilized the lay of the natural forest with mature trees along the fairways, most holes are quite challenging and some are intimidating with water hazards, it is a touch more tougher course than Afamosa. The Lake course #9 par 5 , Woodland # 3 par 4, Meadow #9 Par 4 are very nice and will give you a good test of golf. Water appears on the more gentle lake course quite frequently. Some teeshots at Woodland and Meadow course require long carry.

Came here for a casual round as it is nearby where I stayed, did not expect much but I was pleasantly surprised the quality of design, condition and scenic surrounding, the course is a bit tougher than Afamosa due to more water & tighter fairways . Blue Tee is above 6,600 yards so if you are looking for more comfortable, not a bad idea move back to White. The Championship course combination is Woodland & Meadow course.
All in all it is well worth a visit . Eagle 12/08
