Qixianling GC is one of the newest golf course in Hainan. It is located in the central part Qixianling National Park and closed to Sanya. Also well known with natural hotspring. On sunny day, you can see Qixianling.
The club's boss is also the owner of Sanya Sheraton.
From Sanya, it takes around 1 hour 30 minutes ride to here.

This is a mountain course with big change of elevation. In general, fairways are tight. Plenty of dogleg holes where blind shots are not difficult to find. Average number of bunkers and water hazards. Most greens are elevated and well guarded by bunkers but with less contour.

Good maintain especially the greens, close to perfect！

A challenging & exciting course to play. It becomes more fun after knowing the course. Bring more balls and get some warm up in the driving range before pop to the first tee.
As a new course, the high standard of green maintenance is out of my expectation.
There are pretty much breath taking views. Quiet and natural. No factories, no village, no expensive or unfinished estate around. All you see is mature plantation and series of mountain backdrop.

I'm also impressed with the hotel (Villas). Spacious and elegant. Also equpped with a private hotspring pool in the balcony where I spent my time after golf and in the morning. cool！
Frankly speaking, there is not much thing to do beside golfing and relax.
The closest town (Baoting) is just 10 minutes away but never compare with Haikou nor Sanya. Nothing close. Having said that, local food, massage or small night club can still be found there. But I wouldn't expect too much.
Another 36 holes course is being constructed very closely.
The location is quite remote but I still think worth a try when you visit Sanya.
