Designed by Thanawat Subrungrueng and opened in Oct 2006, Cascata is one of newest golf club in Bangkok and one of the nearest to the new airport (half and hour drive), very convenient if you want to have a quick round before you hop on the plane. |

Like most courses in Bangkok, the course is pancake flat but the entire A & B course in surrounded by water, very intimidating if you are a beginner but in fact the fairways are very generous unless you are way off line, the water are not that in play. The design of the course is fairly straight forward & fair but some holes look & play very similar to each other. The course is not very demanding but only IF you play off the right tee (blue is 6,630, white is 6,273 yards), scorecard. |

The clubhouse is spacious with a mediterranean theme, locker & restaurant are nicely decorated; water hazards are the main feature of the course and can be quite intimidating for beginners. Birdie 6/08 |
